"For "Sukiyaki Stories" I visualize a meal between friends. While enjoying a delicious sukiyaki, one of the guests is checking a mysterious stranger also there at lunch. The young woman doesn't know anything about him, not even his name, but her heart races every time she looks at him. The music feels intimate and warm. The instruments, such as the piano, and the silences, add some melancholy to this new love story, while the lyrics "I didn't know his name" sound like a declaration of hope. "Sukiyaki Stories" is an emotional journey that invites the listener to get lost in the details of this love story that could be their own."
